For those who are interested in exploring the surrounding area we suggest two nearby destinations, that can easily be reached on foot.

Views to Skopelos Town and harbour from Prophitis Elias church.

Walk 1 : The spring of "Stathous"

The path from Ageri Studios up to the spring of STATHOUS. The spring of Stathous.

The spring of "Stathous" is just 7 minutes walk up the hill from the studios and reputed to have the best water on Skopelos. Ask the owners to show you the path, which is opposite the complex, via a sheep shed. Do not forget to take a bottle with you in which to put this cool refreshing water.

Walk 2 : Prophet Elias church in "Kokala"

The path from the spring up to the church. The path is steep but the view is worth the effort.

To continue up to Prophet Elias, take the track which rears up on the right hand side of the spring. It will take you just 5 minutes up a steep path but the view is worth the effort. Prophet Elias is unfortunately closed to the public, unless you happen to be there on its name day, 20th July. For more views walk beside the wall of the church and you will see Skopelos Town and harbor from above. For the return route we advise you to follow the road back down to the main road. It will take you about 15 minutes.
