Elios Village or Neo Klima :
Elios is a purpose-built village, situated by the coast on
the south side of the island, between Milia beach and Klima village. It
is 3 km from Klima village, 6 km from Glossa village and 19 km from
Skopelos town. According to the last census in 1991, the village had 415
inhabitants. Many caiques are still involved in offshore fishing, and
this has become an extremely popular pastime in Elios. According to the
last census in 2001, the village had 474 inhabitants. |
