THE OLD BAKERY
Klima has no shops. In the past there was
the traditional bakery, run by Magdalene, where you could buy rough country bread. After she had finished baking her bread, her good customers could cook
their own food in her wood oven. |

Klima is facing south west and it seems to
enjoy warmer climate than Skopelos town during the winter months. It has stunning views down to Loutraki harbour,
Glossa village, the Aegean Sea and the neighbouring islands and from here one can enjoy the
most spectacular sunsets.
THE HOUSES
Most of the villagers
moved to a purpose-built village named Elios and situated by the coast,
close shortly
after it became popular with tourists. Meanwhile the neglected houses in Klima started to
be purchased by mainland Greeks or foreigners and have been imaginatively restored as
holiday or permanent homes.
