THE AREA OF LOUTSA : A holiday in the Loutsa area would suit those who would like to be near the beach of Panormos and do not mind being away from - but within easy reach of - Skopelos Town. The area consists of wooded hillsides, olive groves, plum or almond orchards and vineyards. Loutsa is sparsely inhabited and a holiday here is generally a quiet affair.

The local bus service is good with plenty of services from mid-June to mid-September. If you prefer to walk to the beach it is possible to do so by track through the forest, thus avoiding the main road. This track brings you to the back of Panormos.
