PANORMOS BEACH & VILLAGE : The beach village of Panormos is 2 km away from the cottage. Here you will find an adequate number of waterside taverns, a couple of cafe-bars and two mini markets. The beach is popular and crowded, with water sports, parasols, and sun beds. A fabulous, wind protected bay with turquoise waters; consists of a large shingle beach and lots of coves. 

The local bus service is pretty good with plenty of services from mid-June to mid-September. If you prefer to walk to the beach it is possible to do so by track through the forest, thus avoiding the main road. This track brings you to the back of the village.
