Fauna
Skopelos Island, North Sporades, Magnesia, Greece

Hedgehog

The variety of fauna species living, nesting, propagating or migrating in Skopelos is rich, and particularly fowling species and fish fauna. Hedgehogs, hares, ferrets, tortoises,  field-mice, and bats belong to the fauna of the island. And, like in all Mediterranean places, exist ants, spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, lizards, midges, horseflies, hornets, bees, sea urchins, jellyfish and ... (the biggest nuisance) wasps.

Goats and Sheep: There is a good breed of goats and sheep here, which is an object of study by the scientists.

Snakes: There are snakes on the island which can make you jump but most of them are not poisonous and we've never heard of anyone getting beaten.
