Public transport from and to the airport is provided by express airport bus connections with Athens
centre on a 24 hours basis, ensuring efficient transport of air travellers and
facilitating linkage to key tourist attractions. |

Four bus routes
connect directly the Athens greater area and Piraeus with the airport. All
buses disembark passengers at the Departures Level and depart from the
Arrivals Level, between Exits 4 and 5. Passengers of the Athens Airport will
be able to use at least 2 public transport lines scheduled to accommodate
their needs for the centre of Athens, as follows: |

a) X93 Kifisos
Intercity Bus Station → Athens
International Airport (average travelling time 65’).
The line connects the airport with the intercity bus stations of Kifisou
and Liosion.
b) X95 Syntagma → Athens International Airport
(average travelling time 70’).
The line connects the airport with Syntagma square in the city center
(connection with metro lines 2 and 3). |

The
"Athens International Airport" is served also by the metro, via
Metro Line 3, “Egaleo - Athens International Airport”.

Taxis are available at the designated Taxi waiting area located at Exit 3 of
Arrivals Level. The duration of the trip to centre of Athens is about 40'. Pre-booked taxis
are available upon request.
Limousines are available upon request at the inner curbside of the Arrivals
Level, between Exits 3 and 4.
