If you are abroad, choose one of the following ways ...

Nowadays travel to and from Greece is easy and cheap. Check out your local travel agents for deals on the latest flights and fly direct to Skiathos, Nea Ancheallos, Thessaloniki or Athens. Regular charter flights operate between May - early October direct to Skiathos from most European cities, and from Athens with Olympic airways. Nea Ancheallos is a small airport close to Volos, that sometimes operates charter flights from Europe. Please check with your travel agent for specific dates and times.

  1. Charter or scheduled flight to Athens International Airport. Domestic flight with OLYMPIC AIRWAYS to Skiathos Airport (35 min). Taxi to the harbour of Skiathos (5 min). Hydrofoil (45-50 min) or ferry (1 hour) to Skopelos.

  2. Charter flight to Skiathos Airport. Taxi to the harbour of Skiathos (5 min). Hydrofoil (45-50 min) or ferry (1 hour) to Skopelos. There are charter flights to Skiathos airport from England (direct from Gatwick (3½ hrs), Bristol, Manchester (3½ hrs) and Newcastle), Italy, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland.

  3. Charter or scheduled flight to Athens International Airport. Express airport bus, line E95, to centre of Athens (Syntagma Square). Taxi (or on foot 10 minutes easy walk) to Kaningos Square - 97, Akadimias Street -  from where ALKYON TRAVEL link buses to Aghios Constantinos quay leave. The hydrofoil meets this link bus and departs almost immediately for Skopelos. The whole trip from Kaningos Square to Skopelos takes 5 ½ hours. This is an interesting route  through mainland Greece and across the sea. In ALKYON office they would reserve a ticket, and you have to collect it half an hour before departure.

  4. Charter or scheduled flight to Athens International Airport. Express airport bus, line E93, to LIOSION intercity bus station. Public bus to Aghios Constantinos (2 ¼ hours). Hydrofoil to Skopelos. This is an interesting route  through mainland Greece and across the sea.

  5. Charter or scheduled flight to Thessaloniki Airport, bus or taxi to the harbour, hydrofoil (4 ½ hours) or boat (8 hours) to Skopelos. Even if you have to stay in Thessaloniki for one night you can have fun visiting the markets and the museums, all within walking distance of the port.

  6. With your own car via Italy (to Igoumenitsa or Patras) across mainland Greece, to Aghios Constantinos. Then ferry to Skopelos (4 hours).

  7. With your own car via Italy (to Igoumenitsa or Patras) across mainland Greece, to Volos. Then by ferry to Skopelos (4 hours).

  8. There is also a number of other connections with different ports of Greece; from Magnesia (Trikeri Island),  Evia (Pefki), Cyclades and Crete.
