Getting around

  • Glossa is a gorgeous traditional Greek village with steep and narrow cobbled streets, few but intriguing shops, eateries and take-away. You will find mini markets, bakeries, butcher and pharmacy. The village sits on the hillside above the port of Loutraki which also has cafes and restaurants, and a clean beach for swimming with changing box for bathers to dress and undress.
  • A choice of unspoilt beaches – Perivoliou, Hondrogiorgi, Spilia, Armenopetra – are within few kilometres of the house; Agios Ioannis – the “Mamma Mia” Church – just 5,7 klm further to the east coast.
  • In addition to the bustling town of Skopelos at the southern side of the Island there are several other lovely small coastal settlements and harbors – Panormos, Agnontas, Loutraki to name but a few – with sea side tavernas and beaches.
